No extension, no app, no account. Everything runs on your computer, with the agent you already use.

    Run npx ilse-design@latest in your project folder. Next.js, Vite, CRA, Remix, Astro: detected on its own. The app opens at the usual address, with the bar on top.

    Point, write a note, tweak the panel, drag. What maps to a class goes in instantly; the rest your agent changes in the code.

Is Ilse really free?+

Yes, and what's free never becomes paid. The license is PolyForm Shield: use it freely, including at work; just don't turn it into a competing product.

Does my code leave my machine?+

No. Ilse runs locally and uses the agent you already have. It stores no keys and sends your code to no server.

Which agent do I need?+

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, Gemini CLI — or any agent that speaks MCP.

How does Pro work?+

Pro is Ilse's test mode (report, journeys, consistency, memory) plus the Library's hands: dragging components onto the page, their copies, and taking your design system to other tools. One-time purchase with 12 months of updates. When that ends, you keep using the version you have; renew if you want the new ones.

What if journeys are late?+

If journeys don't ship by November 2026, I refund you.

Hi, I’m Iverson 👋

I’ve been a designer for 9+ years, and these days I spend more time in code than in Figma. I’d ask Claude Code to fix a button, describe in words what I saw on screen... and it would edit the wrong file.

The agent writes well, but it doesn’t see what I see. It was missing a designer’s eye. So I started Ilse: I point at the real app, she gathers the context, and my agent changes the code.

It’s the tool I wanted for my own projects, and I hope it gives you back the time crooked pixels steal.
